Before your photoshoot
ME/MY PARTNER/MY CHILD ARE POORLY, CAN WE STILL COME FOR OUR APPOINTMENT?
I have to be really careful not to pass on any nasty germs to the small babies that enter my studio so, please get in touch to reschedule. You won’t be charged and it’s much better to be safe rather than sorry.
WHEN SHOULD I BOOK MY FAMILY PORTRAIT?
There’s no perfect time for a family photoshoot. What I would say is don’t put it off! It’s far too common for parents to miss out on capturing special moments with their family because they’ve waited too long for perfect time/age/weight.. you name it.

On the day
Where is your studio?
My studio is located at my home in Longlevens, moments off the A40 and M5 motorway, making it ideally situated for clients in Gloucester, Cheltenham and further afield.
Can I have my hair and make-up done?
Yes absolutely! I work with a fabulous hair and make-up artist who specialises in beautiful, natural make-up. Simply let me know you’d like to book when you get in touch.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FAMILY PORTRAIT SESSION?
During your consultation, we’ll have a chat about what it is that you’re after from your session and I’ll cater accordingly. After you’re booked in you’ll receive a welcome guide letting you everything you need to know to prepare for your session, particularly regarding clothing etc. We’ll aim to get a few different options for a full family portrait and then also get a variety of different photos of the kids/girls/boys etc on their own so that you’ve got plenty to choose from.
With younger children, we might spend a little while playing around at the start to get them feeling happy and comfortable in the studio before we get going. Please don’t worry or feel stressed – we’ll get you a whole gallery of gorgeous photographs!
After your photoshoot
What happens after my photoshoot?
We’ll arrange for your Reveal appointment around 1-2 weeks after your photoshoot, where you’ll be able to see all your fully edited beautiful photos. You’ll be able to take your digital photographs home the same day; prints can take up to three weeks to arrive and wall art up to six. It’s worth the wait!
What is the charity donation?
I donate £10 from every family photography session to local charities supporting families in Gloucestershire.
