I offer personal brand photography to people in business across Gloucestershire who, like me, have family at the heart of their business. Forget the never-ending struggle for content and discover a strong, confident and engaging personal brand, without the need to spend even more time in front of your phone or computer. I can help you to:
First impressions count. And my job as your personal brand photographer is to help you create an excellent first impression – and keep that up going forwards in your business.
Hello! My name is Katie and I am the woman behind the camera here at Moments by Katie Mitchell and I love personal brand photography. I’m not interested in offering you a typical corporate photography service. There are other photographers for that. My aim is not just to take photos of your products or the service you offer or to provide you with the formal headshots that you think you need to look professional. I’m here to help you tell your story, because that’s what your audience are interested in.
I understand the hesitations in booking a professional photographer – it’s something people always put off. They don’t like their picture being taken. They worry they’ll look forced or fake. Perhaps they don’t have the time or are unsure of the return on investment.
I understand what it’s like not to have enough time in the day; we’ll work together to carefully plan your session so that I only take up as much of your time as I need to get the photographs that are really going to boost your brand.
I’m great at putting people at ease (check my testimonials!) and, I promise, as soon as you’re relaxed, nothing about your photos is going to look forced.
I have spent the last seventeen years serving in the British Army so you know you’re going to get punctuality, a mean eye for detail and someone who’s going to work damned hard to get the job done for you. I love that my new career is all about helping others because it’s something I am truly passionate about – I want you to succeed!
I offer low-priced taster sessions for those who’d like to try a personal branding photoshoot before committing to anything further. To find out more, please get in touch.
Here’s what some of my clients said about their personal brand photography session:
Who is going to be able to make a middle aged woman with twins and her wellness coaching business look authentic, quirky and accessible? Katie Mitchell! I was nervous about posed photos as my boys never stay still and I hate looking fake but Katie managed to navigate around our chaos to come up with images that I am proud to use on all my marketing and sales material along with social media. She is professional, warm, knowledgeable and actually listens to what you want. I would have no hesitation in using Katie in the future to refresh my branding.
A personal branding photoshoot should be high on the to-do list for any business professional. Katie’s approach to preparing for the day, both in terms of locations and story ideas was great. The shoot was relaxed and easy and it was great to be able to preview the shots on the same day. Now I have a whole library of images to support my business. Don’t put it off like I did, it’s really not scary – book your personal branding package with Katie today!
I was a little nervous as I don’t really like having my picture taken, but I needn’t have been. Katie was great at putting me at ease and was able to direct me without it feeling too forced. I was blown away by the pictures Katie sent through, they make me look so polished and professional and have given me the confidence to show off the maker behind the product! They have already had a great response through my social media channels and I intend to use them to their full potential on my webpage. I would totally recommend Katie if you are thinking of taking the plunge and investing in yourself and your brand.

I wrote a handy little blog post about that here: What is a Personal Brand?
I’d love to! But I will never show your photographs to anyone without your consent. When you sign your portrait photography contract, you’ll be asked permission to use photographs from your session for marketing purposes. I know that some people feel uneasy about this until they’ve seen their images and that’s fine. You’re welcome to make up your mind at your view and order session and, if you’re happy for me to share your beautiful images with the world, I’ll simply fill ask you to fill in a model release consent form. And of course, if you’d prefer they stayed private, then that’s absolutely fine as well.
I wrote a blog post which goes into a little more detail about this here.
